Asheville film 'Solatrium' heads to Slamdance Film Festival

“Solatrium” by local director Chris Bower will make its world debut at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah Jan. 21-28.

Many Asheville-area residents know Bower from “Moon Europa,” the Asheville based science fiction film he produced with multimedia developer G. Craig Hobbs. But few know that “Moon Europa” was originally a short film, “Solatrium.”

NO..you have your facts wrong. Moon Europa was originally the movie he intended. Actually the words from his mouth were that he had to make the short from Moon Europa because that is the only way they would make it into a festival. Someone is telling a white lie.

Take it up with the Citizen Times. That's where I copied the story from. (See the link listed at the bottom of the post.)
